Questions,decoded.

Straight answers to what people ask me most. Don't see yours? Call me or send a note below.

Can you help if I'm under 65 and need health insurance?

Yes. I help individuals and families compare health insurance plans through the ACA Marketplace (sometimes called Obamacare). We'll look at your doctors, prescriptions, deductibles and out-of-pocket costs, and check whether you may qualify for financial help (premium tax credits) based on household income.

What if I missed Open Enrollment?

Open Enrollment for 2027 Marketplace plans starts November 1. Outside Open Enrollment, you may qualify for a Special Enrollment Period after a qualifying life event, like moving, losing other coverage, getting married or having a baby. Tell me what changed and I'll help you look at your options.

When can I change my Medicare plan?

Medicare's Annual Enrollment Period runs October 15 to December 7 each year. If you have a Medicare Advantage plan, there's also an Open Enrollment Period from January 1 to March 31. If you're turning 65, your Initial Enrollment Period lasts seven months around the month you turn 65.

What's the difference between life insurance and final expense?

Final expense is a type of life insurance with a smaller benefit, designed to help your family with funeral and end-of-life costs. Term and whole life policies can offer larger coverage amounts to help protect the people who count on you. I'll help you see what fits your needs and budget.

Is there a cost to work with you?

No. There's no cost for my help, and there's no obligation to enroll or buy.

Let's look at your options together.
